Make your last stride as quick as your first and leave your opponent in the dust with the new Bauer Vapor 1X Youth Ice Hockey Skate. New for 2017, the Bauer Vapor 1X skate builds upon the concepts that made the 2015 Vapor line one of the top models of skates on the market, with new improvements for unmatched speed and quickness. The Bauer 1X Youth Ice Hockey Skate will be composed of Bauer???s Fiber composite material. This composite material offers a high level of support and protection needed for younger skaters. The X-rib pattern will help provide extra stiffness in the heel of the 1X and provide the heel locking properties that the Vapor line is known for. The low volume, locking fit will keep the players foot in place to provide more control and agility. Internally the Vapor 1X Youth will have a lightweight memory foam and Hydra Max 2 liner. Memory foam padding will provide a great deal of comfort while still providing strong support. The Hydra Max 2 liner will wick away moisture faster to keep the skate dry, the texture of the liner will help keep the foot locked in the skate. This skate is fully heat moldable, by baking in a skate oven, which will cut down the break in time and provide custom comfort. Bauer also upgraded the tongue of the skate to provide extra protection. The 30 ounce felt tongue provides a soft feel but with the proper thickness for protection and a good forward lean. Adding the HD metatarsal guard provides more protection for straight on impacts, and helps protect against lace bite. Between the boot and the holder will be the TPU injected outsole. This rigid outsole will provide a better energy transfer from the boot. Attached will be the Tuuk Lightspeed Pro holder and Tuuk super stainless steel. The holder and runner are one piece which means the runner cannot be replaced if damaged or broken.
